NO DIRECTION HOME: BOB DYLAN wins Emmy Award!
NO DIRECTION HOME: BOB DYLAN won one Emmy Award and was nominated for a total of five awards. The 2006 Emmy Award ceremony took place at Los Angeles's Shrine Auditorium on Saturday August 19th, 2006.
Tom Fleischman picked up the Best Non-Fiction Sound Mixing Emmy for his work on NO DIRECTION HOME: BOB DYLAN. The film's other nominations included Best Non-Fiction Series and Best Non-Fiction Directing.
DIRECTION HOME: BOB DYLAN wins Grand Prize at BANFF World Television Awards!
Martin Scorsese's film took top prize at the Banff Rockie awards, honouring the best in international television. The mountain-shaped awards were handed out in a variety of categories — with 15 different countries taking home the honours. NO DIRECTION HOME: BOB DYLAN was also named Best Arts Documentary.
With the largest number of entries submitted over the past five years, more than 1,000 entries competed in 18 categories. The winners were chosen by an international jury of producers and broadcasters, which met for several days prior to the festival to screen the 18 “Best-of” category winners. They ultimately decided that NO DIRECTION HOME: BOB DYLAN was the Grand Prize overall winner.

NO DIRECTION HOME: BOB DYLAN wins Peabody Award!
NO DIRECTION HOME: BOB DYLAN recently won the Peabody Award in the documentary category. Each year, from more than 1,000 entries, the Peabody Board selects outstanding works exhibiting excellence, distinguished achievement, and meritorious service by radio and television networks, stations, cable television organizations, producing organizations, and individuals. The awards ceremony was held in New York City on June 5, 2006.

March 23, 2006: NO DIRECTION HOME: BOB DYLAN won the prestigious Silver Hugo in the Documentary: History/Biography Category of the 2006 Chicago International Television Awards. The Hugo Awards recognize the best in television from around the world, with winners demonstrating "unparalleled creativity, technical virtuosity and strong production values." NO DIRECTION HOME: BOB DYLAN wins Grammy Award!
February 8, 2006: Nominated for two Grammy Awards, Spitfire's NO DIRECTION HOME: BOB DYLAN today won the Grammy for Best Long Form Music Video.
The award was collected by producer Nigel Sinclair at the ceremony, held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
NO DIRECTION HOME was also nominated for Best Soundtrack Album.

Bob Dylan: No Direction Home was nominated for a British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) award: the Huw Wheldon Award for Specialist Factual. The film was up against The Boy With the Incredible Brain, Life in the Undergrowth, and Holocaust – A Music Memorial from Auschwitz.
